Ben Strevens made two changes to the side that lost to Barnet on Tuesday night at the Silverlake; Sam Matthews and the suspended Danny Hollands made way for Paul McCallum and Oscar Gobern.

The game started out as a very end-to-end type of affair, with both the hosts and the Spitfires having chances that went close early on.
